Whole life i had this chest pain that happens rarely. i take a deef breath & i feel a sharp pain in chest, i feel a pop, & then its gone. what is it?

Mgt/workup: Pain when you take a breath in may be caused by irritation, inflammation or infection of the pleura/pleural space. As a precaution, I would advise a visit with your physician, since more information is needed, and a chest radiograph as indicated. A virtual appt available online.
