Sometime: sometime depend on the shape of the bone and how much displacement hand surgeon and orthopedic doctors worry about vascular necrosis to this type of fracture, which could be avoided by internal fixation,which mean surgery. sometime they treated with a simple cast, and wait to see if the bone will heal. check with a hand surgeon,or orthopedic.
