Advice: Imitrex, (sumatriptan) and indeed all triptans work best when used in the first 90 minutes of a migraine. If used later, unlikely to help at all. A drug, Cambia, can be used anytime during headache and might work well. Have your doctor get some. Would advise avoidance of narcotics, as severe rebound could occur. Have you doc ascertain whether some other process is causing your intensities.
