May be: It depends on what u r using for protection how likely pregnancy is if u r late for your period and having a brown discharge.The brown discharge may be your period on some contraceptives.If in doubt,check a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative.If it is still negative and u r still worried, see your PCP or gynecologist who will take a fuller history and can do an exam and test
