Possible: Patients with seizure disorder may often describe a distinct odor immediately preceding a seizure. The only way to tell if this is an "aura" is if you have a seizure soon after smelling it.

Other possibilities: Phantosmia is the name for smelling things that nobody else smells. There are several possible causes, inc. certain medications, infections, seizure disorders, etc. An excellent article with lots of references & more resources is on Wikipedia. Wikipd can be an iffy resource, but in medical matters it can be quite reliable. With any online resource, check that footnotes are true & its ad-free.
