TTC as if pregnant: Neural tube defects such as anencephaly, the absence of part of the brain; spinal bifida, an abnormal opening in the spinal cord; or hydrocephaly have occurred in the fetuses of pregnant women taking this herb. Animal studies show immature mice developed movement disorders. Take prenatal vitamins with iron and 1mg folic acid to prevent neural tube defects instead. No alcohol or smoking, etc.
