Follow up/more info: You should see your physician if you have sputum with blood. If it is more than a scant amount, the Emergency room can evaluate. I would suggest a TB test and a close exam of your nose. Sometimes nasal bleeding can result in blood tinged phlegm. A virtual consult appt is available.
