As long as it works: ADT is a golden stardard for castration sensitive PC. Usually ADT continues as long as it works. Even when PC becomes castration-resistant, some form of ADT is usually continued along with secondary hormone therapy added. Intermittent ADT may be an option for low-risk mPC, but continous ADT is generally recommended for high-risk PC. PC is an androgen-driven tumor. ADT is very effective.
