Needs evaluation...: If this cough has not been any better or worse during a week it si time to get seen. There are many reasons for a persistent cough, in this case could be a complicated upper respiratory tract infection, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, pertussis. The only way to tell for sure is doing a detailed evaluation of what is going on and an exam.
