My husband suffers from acid reflux and every morning has a coughing and mucus spell and somedays throws up. everyday. what can help him?

Exam/GI expert: He will need examination, upper endoscopy and prescription medication. Until seen I would recommend OTC Pepcid AM/PM-Prilosec or Nexium (esomeprazole) may help; however, he must be examined. I suggest GI evaluation.
