The only way to know: is to have a duplex venous ultrasound. Follow up with the physician who is taking care of your DVT for further evaluation.

Dvt: Discomfort and swelling as a result of dvt takes time to resolve As long as you are treated with anticoagulation therapy you will have a good outcome
