So many reasons: It sounds like you may have "palmar erythema" but this is a guess without seeing them. If this is the case, there are many possible causes as in pregnancy, thyroid disease, liver disease, blood issues like significantly elevated red blood cell counts, skin issues like eczema/psoriasis, and various infections as a start! Consider seeing your doctor for further information.
