Cholestasis : Cholestasis (abnormal flow of bile from the liver) can potentially cause palm itchiness.

Contact or irritant: You likely have a contact allergy (especially if you have atopic dermatitis) to something used on hands (soap, scented lotion etc). Dry skin can also cause itching and too much washing causes irritation (burning and swelling) thus avoiding excessive contact with water and applying unscented hand lotion after hand- washing whenever possible may help. See dermatologist if problem persists.
