Pacemaker best treat: Currently guideline regarding Mobitz type 2 AV block state that an implantable pacemaker is the standard of care. Basically what that means is that according to all of our research an implanted pacemaker is your best bet to stop sudden heart block that could lead to sudden cardiac death. I would advise you speak to your physician about your concerns and he/she can discuss the pros & cons.
