Varies: Often Staph infections under the skin are due to spread from the skin. If it was simply outside, oral antibiotics would be given but internal infections usually require antibiotics by vein. Common medications are clindamycin and vancomycin, but your individual treatment would depend on what cultures your would grew and to what they were sensitive.
