A member asked:

When is better to take a hiv rna test at 6 or 7 weeks from exposure ?and is the test conclusive by this time ?thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV test: An HIV nucleic acid test at 7 weeks after exposure is an appropriate test and timing. If it is negative that would essentially rule out HIV.
