Pinched Rotator Cuff: Your rotator cuff travels between the acromion bone on top and the round humeral head of your arm bone below. Acromioclavicular arthrosis means arthritis in the joint at the end of your clavicle, which is associated with an increased joint size and therefore less room for your rotator cuff, or a smaller "outlet" for your rotator cuff. P.T., cortisone shots can help, sometimes surgery needed.

AC joint arthritic: This is a very common finding/wording on a MRI for shoulder pain.Basically it means your ACjt.(where your collarbone connects to the scapula bone or acromion)("shoulder separation joint") shows some narrowing and spur formation and may be 'impinging' on your rotator cuff tendon(s) w/ your arm in overhead or away from the body(abduction) positions.See an ORS for examination/correlation.GL!
