Make Sure its IBS-C: Have you had a Colonoscopy prior to being diagnosed with IBS-C? If not, it is very important to have one completed. If your Colonoscopy was normal, then discuss treatment options for Constipation with your doctor. In my practice, I have found Miralax (polyethylene glycol) over the counter to be an excellent choice for the treatment of Constipation. Discuss your symptoms with your physician.
