Liquid NyQuil has : a fairly high alcohol content; NyQuil GelCaps, less, but both can cause potentially serious interactions with Valium, as the combo ^es both central nervous system & respiratory depression additively & synergistically. Pseudoephedrine in NyQuil can ^ anxiety, heart rate & BP. If you need a sedative tonight after a NyQuil dose, go to an ER for the recommended close monitoring by a physician
