For a drug test,: Valium is one of the longer half-life benzodiazepines. A urine drug test could in theory show metabolites of diazepam (Valium) for 5-6 days after taking a dose. The metabolites have a 48 hour half life. For a 4 mg single dose, if you're not a chronic user, your system should be clear now by day 8 with a good degree of certainty.
