A member asked:

Lower left leg has a rhythmic throb after walking just two blocks. abi and arteriovenous ultrasound normal. mild swelling posteriorly. get angiogram?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: ABI and arterial test are pretty accurate tests. If normal then angiogram should not be needed. Sometimes people can have chronic compartment syndrome. If this is persistent problem you should consider seeing an orthopedic surgeon.
