Best see doc today: Most conjunctivitis ("pink eye") is due to viruses; adenonvirus it the name of one of the common causes. However, "green discharge" is worrisome for a bacterial infection, in which case an antibiotic eyedrop or ointment may be necessary. And even a viral infection may benefit from soothing eyedrops. Colloidal silver isn't likely to help. Call your doctor's office, even though it's the weekend.
