Likely not: 10 weeks allows reasonable bone healing with plates involved. Clearly be smart and keep off hard foods. You may be feeling muscle attachments pulling. When you activate them with forceful chewing, they will contract and pull against their attachment points/areas. This is likely what you were feeling. You may get some inflammation and swelling. See your Surgeon if needed. Good Luck.

Enjoy eating,: If you haven’t been able to eat solid food yet, it is about time, start now. Even if the task of eating involves mashing soft food up against the roof of your mouth or tongue, do it anyway. You’ll never gain your strength back on liquid or soft food alone. Enjoy eating, breathing and keep smiling.
