Quite likely.: You are thankfully very close to "term" which is >37 weeks. If your contractions are starting to get regular, closer together or more painful, please contact your OB. S'he can tell you if you need to come to the office or go to the hospital. You would need a vaginal exam and maternal-fetal monitoring to determine if this is "false labor" or the real thing. Possibly...: how many weeks gestation are you? Did you have back labor with any prior deliveries? I recommend you be examined by your OB doctor or Midwife.

Contractions: based on your symptoms it sounds like you are in early labor. I suggest you either go to L&D and be checked or at least cal, your OB for instructions. Good luck with everything.
