I'm 39 weeks andwas having sporadic contractions: not intense, lower back ache, crampy. all day now they have been 6ish min apart. could they be real?

Yeso: You need a pelvic exam to see if you are dilating. If the contractions are slow but regular in time, you are in early labor. Expect the contractions to intensify and the time between to shorten. The OB may want you to walk around if you are still closed.
