Breast tumors: There are benign and malignant tumors within the breasts of women at any age. Only a biopsy examined by a pathologist can tell with certainty which parts of a mass are benign or malignant. Some malignancies arise from within in a benign lesion such as a fibroadenoma. Carefully read the pathology report to determine size.
