Vocal cord problem : You could have a condition called paradoxical vocal fold motion disorder which can cause your vocal cords to close when you breathe in instead of opening. This can cause a brief sensation of difficulty breathing and then the vocal cords open again. There are many other things that could be involved like laryngopharygeal reflux. Get an ENT evaluation with a video laryngoscopic exam and treatment.
