It takes time: It will likely take time for your menstrual cycle to normalize on its own. If you don't have a period after a month, you can take another test or go in to see a physician and have a test done. In the mean time, unless you are trying to get pregnant, use a back up method (condoms) for birth control or abstain from sex.
