It's best to perform a pregnancy test 4 or 5 days after a missed period. If your menstrual cycle is quite regular and about 28 days, unprotected sex on the last day of your period wouldn't occur during your ovulation which would occur on or about day 14. You may have had an anovulatory ( no egg) cycle & are experiencing hormonal imbalance. Your gynecologist can advise you best.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
