I meant that my left eyeglasses lens is closer to my left eyeball than my right glasses lens to my right eyeball. is this harmful to eyes or vision?

Get your glasses: fixed & see your eye Dr. Not sure why your lenses of your glasses would be closer to your left eye unless the glasses are bent, or if your left eye protrudes out more than the right? In any case, you need and a full eye exam with dilation to see what is going on. Potentially lab values need ed to look at your thyroid more closely. It won't hurt your vision, but may mask underlying health issues.

Not harmful: The distance from the eye to the lens has some effect on the actual power of the glasses, but this is only significant if the power of the glasses is high.
