Sam-e is used for treatment of depression and other conditions. is it important to use enteric coated tablets if i take it?

No: The only reason to take an enteric coated medicine is if the original formula upsets your stomach. SAM-e is a supplement and not a medication and is not therefor regulated, anything may be in it. Please use with caution. If you are taking other antidepressants please tell your doctor about any supplements/homeopathic treatments you are also taking as there may be dangerous interactions.
