Needs psychologist: anxiety like this should be evaluated by and followed by a child psychologist or child psychiatrist. These types of anxiety attacks can severely affect an adolescent's life and should be addressed by a professional.

Life skill coach: One of the hardest things about transitioning into adulthood is there is really no set skills manual to rely on. Any adolescent who is preoccupied with a recurrent fear is likely focusing all their anxieties on a real topic, but not able to articulate or manage their other stresses. She needs a 3rd party to help teach her coping skills. These can be an unrelated psychologist. psychiatrist, etc
