Yes: You could have perforated the eardrum, caused a bruise on it or just caused a bunch of pressure on the drum. If you have a decrease in hearing, blood coming out of the canal or this doesn't improve or gets worse see your doctor. The thing about sinus rinses is you don't need to blow hard.
