A member asked:

Can congested sinuses cause temporary hearing loss? sometimes, hearing in my left ear is less sharp than my right ear--but if i pinch my nose and blow and pop my ears, it clears up for the rest of the day. what's going on?

Eustachian tube: Dysfunction, this is the tube connecting your middle ear and your throat to equalize pressure on both sides of the ear drum, one on each side. If blocked or doesn't function properly, happens often with upper respiratory tract infections, can lead to what you described. Kindly visit your doctor who may refer you to an ENT specialist, meanwhile, use saline nasal washes often, good luck
