A/G ratio: Normal range is 1.5 for adults. If this ratio is less than 1.0 then there's a concern for cirrhosis, Ulcerative colitis, Kidney disease, multiple myeloma, and burns. There's a lot of factors that can affect this test. For example dehydration may cause your albumin levels to be lower than normal and that can affect this ratio. I would follow up with your PCP regarding this result.
