Irregular bleeding: If you think you may have had a miscarriage, you can do a pregnancy test. The test will remain positive for a few days after a miscarriage. It is not really necessary to see a doctor for an early miscarriage, unless you have heavy or prolonged bleeding or pain afterwards. Occasionally, a woman may need a D&C to control the bleeding, but this is not common. You should not TTC again for 6 months
