Yes: Gyn needs to examine u to make sure all the products of conception came out (fetus, cord, placenta); otherwise may develop heavy uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, fever, &/or uterine tenderness. May require D&C to remove any rpoc (retained products of conception).

Yes: Following a miscarriage, it is recommended to see your physician to confirm completion. Sometimes part of the pregnancy tissue may remain and cause bleeding and infection. Therefore, it is best to confirm completion.
