A member asked:

How can a differentiate a cold (cough, runny nose) and pinkeye in a 6mo from early measles symptoms? baby doesn't have pinkeye anymore. i'm scared.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Measles: Yes measles is spreading but the cold/conjunctivitis is way more common than measles and likely just that. Be on the lookout for fever or new rashes. The pediatrician might or might not be able to see Kopliks spots in the inside of the mouth if possible measles.
