Dental implants: Myth: They are just like natural teeth. The truth is there are subtle differences between natural teeth and implants. Now that if you don't floss daily you may be subject to periimplantitis, a bone/gum infection that can lead to loss of the implant fixture. Follow oral hygiene instructions to the letter if you want the implant to last.
