LH surge causes ovul: Actually it is a surge in the LH levels that cause ovulation. This surge is due to other hormones being present in your system. There are number of problems that might cause an interference with an LH surge like Poly cystic Ovarian disease, Ovarian Failure, high prolactin levels. If you are having ovulation problems or symptoms of no periods then please speak to your doctor for a checkup.
