No: Ovulation occurs 14 days before your period starts. If you have a short cycle you may ovulate sooner than you expect to after your cycle ends. Ex: with a 21 day cycle day 1 is the first day of your period day 7 ovulation ( even if your menses last 5 days). Of course there is some variation. Most pregnancies are conceived 2 days before ovulation. Good luck!
