A member asked:

If my cycles are a bit longer than other people, say i ovulate around day 20, but i have a normal 14 day luteal phase, making my average cycle 33 days will it cause problems for fertility? it has always been a bit on the long side?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The range for period "regularity" is b/t 24-36 days, and the luteal phase is usually fixed at about 14 days. If your pattern is as described, fertility will depend on other factors (tubal disease, male infertility in a partner, etc.) but not on the cycle length described. If pregnancy is attempted, an ovulation kit may assist in timing such attempts to optimize chances of pregnancy.
