Mass back of head: The most common lesions back of head are sebaceous cysts, lipoma, enlarged nodes. See an ENT doctor for evaluation.

More info, please: How long have you had them? Do they hurt? Do you have any other symptoms? Cough, dandruff, acne, fever, night sweats, unexplained weight loss? Small bumps below the skin could be lymph nodes or cysts. It is safest to have this checked out by your doc to see what they could be.

Hello. I am a 37 year old woman. A few days ago I found a swollen bump under my skin on my left cheek near my ear. Over the next three days it spread to behind my ear and down my neck. It seems to be several swollen bumps that are connected and are painful to the touch. My ear doesnt hurt, just the bumps. Otherwise I am a little stuffed up and tired but I feel fine. (I have two young kids so Im usually tired) Painful swollen nodes near my ear?
Half golf ball size tender bump on back of head behind left ear-no trauma. Swollen lymph nodes in that area & stiff neck. Blood work came back normal.
