Maybe sinusitis: This may represent a sinus infection with post nasal drip. If you have throat irritation and a cough, I would discuss Amoxil with your physician. Nasal sinus rinses over the counter, propping pillows and a nasal steroid may also help. Another cause to consider and treat is reflux.

Cough: Xray ok means was it normal or getting chest xray us ok? I guess snyibiotic trial at this point should be appropriate if you have tried over the counter medications.
