I had a mild case of tonsillitis in late july, 2x since xmas, now my tonsils are red and swollen again.how long before i can ask to rmv them?

Tonsillectomy: Removal of tonsils is rarely done nowadays and certainly not after only two episodes of tonsillitis which usually responds well to antibiotic treatment. Your physician or otolaryngologist will advise you wisely.
