Possible: You could have a rectal infection sure but this is different from PID. I would get a full pelvic examination. Rectal cultures as well. If further tests are indicated it will be apparent by the results of your exam.

I had severe lower left pelvic pain and flagyl, ciprofloxacin cleared it up, but now it's coming back. I have other symptoms of PID but no STD or vaginal discharge.
If you are experiencing painful/burning/stinging during intercourse, vagina irritation, cramping/bloating, a little irritation after peeing, lower back ache and aching in both hip areas, could that be: a yeast infection, UTI, PID, vaginismus, STI?
Can 1g azithromycin treat anything else other than Clamydia and gonorreah? Treated for suspected PID but have NO positive STI swabs.
What causes pid? Other than an STD i haven't had sex in 2 years the last time i did i got tested for any STD all test came back negative
