That makes sense: There are many tiny blood vessels in the gums around the teeth that carry blood to and from your heart. The health of your mouth, teeth and gums can affect your general health and heart is not an exceptional.

Not exactly....: Periodontal problems can contribute to heart problems, but lack of dental problems does not imply your heart is healthy. http://www.perio.org/consumer/heart_disease

Not necessarily: If you have gum disease, then there is research indicating the potential harmul effects on the heart. Your teeth may be ok , and you may still have gum (periodontal) disease. If , however you meant that "if your mouth is healthy, then so is your heart", then you cannot imply it is true. BUT, you will have eliminated a huge possible negative influence factor on your heart. Nice going. Good Luck.
