Effexor (venlafaxine): Effexor (venlafaxine) is a fairly balanced compound in that it works on both norepinephrine and serotonin fairly equally (unlike Cymbalta for instance which skews to the serotonin side a bit more). So, you'll be getting the norepinephrine reuptake inhibition at every dose strength. Hope that helps!
