? Infection: Some blood after removal of catheter is not unusual, A structure can cause incomplete bladder emptying which could result in an infection. The infection could cause pain. You need to see urologist or your doctor to get urine analysis to see if infection present. A urologist may have to do cystoscope and maybe have urethane dilated; if not already done.

See urologist: You probably need to see urologist. They will likely need to visually evaluate your stricture with a small instrument placed in your urinary canal, and discuss treatment options, one being trying to make that narrowing wider again. There are a few strategies, but be aware that all treatment options carry certain risks, and success can be limited to 70-80% cases. Hope this helps. Good luck!

See below: If the catheterization occurred recently the pain may be to inflammation and/or infection in the urethra. Speak with your physician because you may an antibiotic. It's also possible you may have a bladder infection. Medication for pain can be prescribed and is also available OTC as Azo.
