Hidradenitis on head: HS is not dangerous, just a really difficult disease to deal with. Find a dermatologist who is interested in helping you and stick with him/her. Go to www.hs-foundation.org to find someone near you. I consider it one of my missions in life to help combat this disease.

Hidradenitis: This abnormality of the apocrine sweat glands is typically confined to the areas of the arm pits and the groins. It sounds like another problem if it is outside of these areas. See your primary care for an exam. May also need to see a dermatologist or ENT surgeon. This should be evaluated ASAP. Hope this helps!
